White Flower Farm gift certificates are available year-round, and there are two ways to send them. Choose regular mail, and we’ll send a printed gift certificate to your recipient accompanied by a copy of our latest catalog. (Standard delivery by First Class mail is free. Delivery takes approximately 3-7 business days. Priority Delivery is available for an additional $17 per address. Delivery takes approximately 2 business days.) For a faster, more environmentally friendly method, choose electronic notification. Your recipient will receive an email to announce your gift. It will contain a link to our website, which always features our fullest and most up-to-date array of offerings to include new arrivals, limited offers, and specials that don’t always make it onto the pages of our catalogs. (Gift certificates sent via email can be delivered “same day” or on any date of your choosing.)

Please note: a printed gift certificate must be in the name of the person receiving it, but we can ship the gift certificate directly to you, if you like. Simply provide your address at checkout.

HOW PLANTS ARE SHIPPED

The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.

WHEN WE SHIP

We ship our bulbs and plants at the right time for planting in your area, except as noted, with orders dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis by climate zone. We also ship a wide range of containers and planters, tools, supplies, fertilizers, garden wear, garden decor items, as well as indoor decorations like wreaths and dried bouquets when available. Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the green Shipping Details box for each item. Please supply a street address for delivery. Kindly contact us with two weeks notice, if you'll be away at the expected time of delivery.

OUR GUARANTEE

We guarantee to ship plants that are in prime condition for growing. If your order is damaged or fails to meet your expectations, we will cheerfully replace or refund it. Over the years, we have visited and routinely purchased plants from White Flower Farm. The plants are the most robust in our gardens, and no wonder - a visit to their farm reveals the reason why. Expert care, impressive greenhouses and fields, mature plants and trees, knowledgeable staff - they have it all. We will continue to come back every year - hoping their annual open house will someday resume. We love you, White Flower Farm!!!

Unhappiness, a first encounter with you.

I received a bouquet of cut flowers ordered from you. She placed on Tuesday, your Burlington, NJ office, I presume, delivered them this afternoon, Friday 3/26/2021. A rather large mix, many of them wilted and already dead. Roses that have not yet opened are wilted with ugly spots on them. They are a promising sign of spring. My sister who lives in Detroit ordered them and called as I removed them from the box. She is not happy, neither am I. I will wait for a response from you.

I ordered a gift card today with no problem (3/18/21)

For the last two years, I have ordered gift cards for myself, then applied them to my order. I choose email for delivery, and have had no problem. In both cases, I have received the gift cards within a half hour after ordering. I use an ipad to order.

Gift Certificate

I have been a long time supporter of White Flower Farm and have always had success with their plants and bulbs. I recently ordered a gift certificate for a friend who lost her parent. It was a bit challenging to order using my phone, however when I changed to my iPad I had no difficulty. So, I can see where some individuals have had challenges. It was effortless to order the gift certificate once I changed devices.
